How do I sign up for private lessons?

  • New students: Please fill out this registration form to sign up for private lessons.

    • Please note that when you register, the "fee" column represents the total monthly cost of tuition. Our system will calculate the remaining number of classes in a month and prorate your bill accordingly.

  • Returning students: If you would like to start lessons again, please log in to the portal and sign up for classes there.

  • Adding a student to an existing family/account: If you already have one child taking private lessons and would like to enroll another, please log in to the portal and add a new student.

What age should my child start private music lessons?

  • Our private lessons are appropriate for ages 6 and up.

  • We have group classes for ages 3 and up.

  • Please review our minor safety policy here.

Am I too old to learn an instrument?

  • There is no such thing as being too old to learn an instrument. We’d love to work with you!

What length of private lesson should I sign up for?

  • Here is what we recommend:

    • 30 minutes (beginner musicians)

    • 40 minutes (intermediate musicians)

    • 50 minutes (advanced musicians)

  • Generally, 40-50 minute lessons are not recommended for ages 12 and under. For special exceptions please email us.

What if I don’t have a lot of time to practice?

  • That’s OK. We understand that everyone has busy lives! You will work with your instructor to set reasonable practice goals based on your availability and interest.

How much do lessons cost?

What if I miss a lesson?

  • Please inform your teacher at least 48 hours in advance if you cannot attend a scheduled lesson. You can report an absence through your parent portal.

  • You can check out our full attendance, cancellation, and holiday policies on our policies page.

What if I don’t see any timeslots that work for me?

  • If you don’t find the right combination of length of lesson and date, feel free to email us. We will do our best to accommodate you based on teacher availability.

What do I do if my account charges don’t look correct?

  • If your account charges seem incorrect please email us before trying to issue a chargeback! We want to make sure that you are charged correctly while also not incurring steep chargeback fees on our end.
